Day 1 (Thursday)
After arrival at the fantastic Faroe Islands, a shuttle-taxi will take you to Hotel Djurhuus***, which will be your home for the next 7 nights.

Day 2 (Friday)
This day is at your own disposal – if you do not add one of the excursions “Kalsoy Island Classic” (see prices on the list of addtional tours).
We suggest you taking a tour through Tórshavn’s old town “á Reyni, and visit the World’s oldest parliament “Tinganes”. There are several interesting museums to visit, and perhaps a lunch at the Nordic House. Enjoy the world’s smallest capital with its maritime cafés, restaurants, designer shop or perhaps the shopping center SMS.

Additional tour: Excursion to Borðoy, Kalsoy and Viðoy (10 hours) – kr. 2.298,- incl. lunch
Highlights: Tórshavn, the Nordic House, á Reyni, the fort Skansin, Tinganes
Day 3 (Saturday)
Today’s excursion goes to Sandoy where you will visit the 19th century church of Sandur, walk through the old village of Húsavík, visit the picturesque isolated village of Dalur, visit the site of a late 19th century shipwreck and a place of magic.
From there you drive to the beautiful old village of Kirkjubøur.
Here we visit the oldest church that is still in use in the Faroe Islands, the over 900-year-old Olav church. You will also see the ruins of St. Magnus Cathedral from the 14th century.
You will be picked up at the hotel at 08.45am and be back at the hotel at 4pm.

Day 4 (Sunday)
This day is at your own disposal.
We suggest you taking a tour through Tórshavn’s old town “á Reyni, and visit the World’s oldest parliament “Tinganes”. There are several interesting museums to visit, and perhaps a lunch at the Nordic House. Enjoy the world’s smallest capital with its maritime cafés, restaurants, designer shop or perhaps the shopping center SMS.

Day 5 (Monday)
This day is at your own disposal – if you do not add one of the excursions “Wonderful Streymoy” (see prices on the list of addtional tours).
We suggest you taking a tour through Tórshavn’s old town “á Reyni, and visit the World’s oldest parliament “Tinganes”. There are several interesting museums to visit, and perhaps a lunch at the Nordic House. Enjoy the world’s smallest capital with its maritime cafés, restaurants, designer shop or perhaps the shopping center SMS.

Additional tour: Excursion to Streymoy and Vestmanna Bird Cliffs (8 hours) – kr. 1.998,- incl. lunch

Day 6 (Tuesday)
Pick-up from the hotel at 8.45am – where you will go on a full-day excursion to Eysturoy via the new underwater tunnel.
First stop is in Elduvík, where you will see the beautiful nature and hear interesting stories.
Then to Gjógv and Ljósáir where lunch is served.
After lunch you will visit a local sheep farm where a local farmer will show you some Faroese sheep and tell you about sheep farming in the Faroe Islands.
Back at the hotel at 4.30pm.

Day 7 (Wednesday)
You wil be picked up at the hotel at 8:45am, where you will go on a full-day excursion to Vágar.
After some photo stops on the way to the island of Vágar, you drive to the last settlement on Vágar – Gásadalur. Here you can see Múlafossur and eat a homemade packed lunch made for you.
The next stop is Bøur, here you can wander around the small cozy settlement with views of Tindhólmur, Mykines and Drangarnir.
From Bøur you will be driven to the War Museum, located in the old war buildings next to the airport.
You will be back at the hotel at 4pm.
After you have been to the War Museum you can add an excursion for DKK 450,- to hike out to Trælanípan with a guide.
