Day 1 (Monday); COPENHAGEN/BILLUND/AALBORG – FAROE ISLANDS

When you arrive in the Faroe Islands, your rental car will be waiting for you at the airport.

You will stay the first 2 nights at the newly renovated Hotel Vágar – only 2 minutes drive from the airport.

After you have settled in, we recommend that you take a trip to Gásadalur settlement and see the beautiful waterfall “Múlafossur.
On the way to Gásadalur you pass Sørvágur and Bøur with the beautiful view of Tindhólmur, Mykines and Drangarnir.

If you land early in the day, there is an option to buy a boat trip with SeaTravel out to Drangarnir for DKK 995 – a fantastic experience.

Day 2 (Tuesday); Sørvágsvatn and kayaks

Today you are going for a nice trip with kayaks on Sørvágsvatn, which is the largest lake in the Faroe Islands and is located on the island of Vágar.
It is a unique and breahtaking place that attracts many nature and outdoor enthusiasts.

The kayak trip takes you close to the Bøsdalafossur waterfall, where the water from Sørvágsvatn flows into the Alantic Ocean. This spectacular sight provides a dramatic contrast between the calm lake and the wild sea.

You park the kayaks at the end of the water and here you also have the opportunity to hike up to Trælanípan.

Day 3 (Wednesday); Tjørnuvík and surfing

After your breakfast, you drive towards Tjørnuvík – a small village on the northern tip of Streymoy, one of the most popular surfing spots in the Faroe Islands. The town lies idyllically in a bay surrounded by high mountains.

This acticity includes 2-3 hours of lesson and surfing (for all levels).

Food and drinks can be enjoyed at The Surf Shack on the beach after the session.
Surfboard, wetsuit with hood, gloves and boots and mandatory lifeguard are included. All you need to bring is swimwear and towel.

After your surf lesson, you will drive north to Gjógv, where you will spend the next night.

At the hotel you have the opportunity to experience the cultural evening – here you taste some of the Faroese specialties and listen to cultural features. We recommend advance booking.

Day 4 (Thursday); Klaksvík

Today you drive further north to Klaksvík, where you will sleep the next night.

Today we recommend that you take the ferry to the island of Kalsoy, where you can hike out to Kallur* lighthouse and at the same time visit James Bond’s tombstone.

Day 5 (Friday); The capital – Tórshavn

Today you drive towards the capital – Tórshavn, where you will stay for the last two nights.

After arrival, we recommend you walk around the city – Á Reyni, Tinganes, the center of the city, the shopping centre SMS, etc.

Another option is to take the ferry out to cozy Nólsoy (20 minutes) and hike out there.

Day 6 (Saturday); Sightseeing Tórshavn and Kirkjubøur

Today we recommend you rent two bikes and go sightseeing in Tórshavn and a trip to Kirkjubøur.

Cycling between Tórshavn and Kirkjubøur is a fantastic way to experience the culture and nature of the Faroe Islands.
The route offers a combination of city life, history and unique landscapes.

Day 7 (Sunday) ; HOME
