Day by day suggestions
Day 1 (Monday); COPENHAGEN/BILLUND/AALBORG -> FAROE ISLANDS
When you arrive in the Faroe Islands, your rental car will be waiting for you at the airport.
You stay the first 2 nights at the newly renovated Hotel Vágar – just 2 minutes drive from the airport.
After you’ve settled in, we recommend you take a trip to Gásadalur village and see the beautiful waterfall “Múlafossur”.
On the way out to Gásadalur, you pass Sørvágur and Bøur with beautiful views of Tindhólmur, Mykines and Drangarnir.
If you land early in the day, you can purchase a boat trip with SeaTravel or Bluegate out to Drangarnir – a fantastic experience.

The kayak tour takes you close to the Bøsdalafossur waterfall, where the water from Sørvágsvatn flows into the Atlantic Ocean. This spectacular sight provides a dramatic contrast between the calm lake and the wild sea.
You “park” the kayaks at the end of the water and here you also have the opportunity to hike up to Trælanípan.

This activity includes a 2-3 hour lesson and surfing (both beginner and advanced).
Food and drinks can be enjoyed at The Surf Shack by the beach after the session. Surfboard, hooded wetsuits, gloves and boots and mandatory lifeguard are included. All you need to bring is swimwear and a towel.
