The owners write:
“It’s been many years since we had the idea to build these holiday homes, and in January 2017, it was our eldest daughter Julia, 18, who got in the excavator and put the first shovel in the ground.
With nature as our trademark, it is very important to protect and respect nature. It goes without saying that we have chosen the old Faroese building pattern, with stone foundations, wide black cladding boards, white mullioned windows and, of course, grass on the roof. Inside, the houses are also characterized by the old way of building, but are adapted to give our guests the best possible stay and experience.
The floor area is 36 m2 with a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom and living area, good staircase to the first floor. On the first floor is a room with two beds and an open room with two more beds.
We, the couple Anita and Tróndur, are the owners of the resort “The View” and we also live here in the village of Bøur with our 3 daughters; Julia, Eva Gunn and Anja Sólja.
We also run a small farm with 70 sheep, 5 young cattle, chickens, ducks, dog, horse and Bernhard the rabbit.”
Check in after 15:00 – check out before 10:00.
